The Tork Kratos R has recently received an update — a new riding mode — that offers more range. The Eco+ riding mode gives Tork Motors’ flagship motorcycle a claimed range of 150km. The new mode will also be made available to existing owners of the electric motorcycle.
In the Eco+ riding mode, top speed is limited to 35kmph, while the motorcycle gets a top speed of 105kmph in Sport mode. The 150km claimed range in the Eco+ mode puts the motorcycle closer to its IDC-claimed range of 180km. The Eco+ mode comes in addition to the already available three riding modes: Eco (120km), City (100km) and Sport (70km).
The rest of the motorcycle remains unchanged. It gets a 4kWh battery and a 4.5kW motor with peak power of 9kW. It takes 6 to 7 hours to charge the battery from 0-100% with a home charger, and 60 minutes to charge it from 20-80% using a fast charger. Braking duties are taken care of by a 267mm disc brake at the front and a 220mm disc brake at the rear. It gets a front telescopic fork and rear monoshock suspension setup. Features-wise, the Kratos R gets a fully digital instrument console, USB charging port and a reverse mode.
The Tork Kratos R is priced at Rs 1,67,499 (ex-showroom, including subsidies and home charger) and its rivals are the Revolt RV400, Oben Rorr and Hop Oxo.
