Hyundai has given  the Creta the sportier N Line compact SUV in Brazil. The new Creta variant is based on the model already on sale in India, and adds sporty design cues and a retuned suspension to the SUV.

A wider, more aggressive Parametric front grille makes the new Creta N Line seem sporty at first glance. Lower down, the new bumper houses a massive air dam flanked by slim, angular foglamp housings.

At the rear, the Creta’s tailgate has been slightly redesigned and the bumper features split faux diffusers and dual exhaust tips. Staying true with the sporty theme, the Creta N Line also gets a set of new alloy wheels.

In Brazil, the Creta N Line gets a 1-litre T-GDI turbo petrol engine – similar to the powerplant offered in the Venue subcompact SUV in India. It makes 120PS and 172Nm and comes paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. On our shores, the Creta N Line should get the more powerful 140PS 1.4-litre turbo petrol unit paired with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.

We expect the Creta N Line to make to our shores with the facelifted model. There’s a high possibility that we’ll get a different-looking version of the N Line SUV based on the facelifted Hyundai Creta which is expected to arrive by early 2023. It’ll compete with the Kia Seltos X-Line and the Volkswagen Taigun GT in our country.

The new Creta N Line will likely command a premium over the regular Creta which is priced between Rs 10.44 lakh and Rs 18.18 lakh (ex-showroom).
