Royal Enfield Himalayan Basecamp Ladakh Edition Announced

Royal Enfield has announced the inaugural Himalayan Basecamp (HBC) Ladakh Edition. It will be held at 11,480 feet in Ladakh between September 4 and 6, 2026 and will bring together adventure enthusiasts from all across India.

The basecamp will include activities such as kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, and mountain biking. It will also have multiple challenges, such as a navigation challenge, in which participants have to navigate the Ladakh terrain with nothing but a road book, or the hill climb challenge, where participants will compete in a time trial hill climb race.

This basecamp will also provide participants with the opportunity to learn from professionals across multiple learning sessions, such as bush mechanics and off-road recovery, motorcycling overlanding 101, 4-wheel-drive and SUV overlanding essentials, and a lot more.

As a part of the basecamp, Royal Enfield is also organizing seven rides designed to focus on the art, culture, and photography of the region. Riders will experience Ladakhi food, culture, and music as a part of the ride. The rides will also include a triple pass expedition to Khardung La, Wari La, and Tanglang La mountain passes. 

Alongside the basecamp, there will also be guided rides from 24 cities across India to Ladakh, so riders can make the journey an adventure, not just the destination.

The prices for the basecamp start at Rs 999 for a 1-day ticket, and you can buy a festival pass for Rs 1,499. There are also passes for a group of 5 at RS 6,746 and Rs 13,566 for a group of 10. You can register for the event on Royal Enfield’s website.
