New Range Rover Evoque Autobiography Launched At Rs 69.5 Lakh! Here’s All You Need To Know

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has introduced the Range Rover Evoque Autobiography at Rs 69.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The new trim introduces some first-time features that add to the premiumness quotient and also make the SUV more comfortable. The Evoque is available with both petrol and diesel options. 

The new trim replaces the Dynamic SE variant, which was slightly more affordable. The outgoing Dynamic SE trim was priced at Rs 67.9 lakh while the Autobiography variant retails at Rs 69.5 lakh, which is a price increase of Rs 1.6 lakh! Exterior Upgrades 

While the silhouette and design elements remain unchanged, certain styling updates have been made to the SUV to make it look more premium. The bonnet now features copper elements, and the rear also gets copper trims for the tailgate lettering. Furthermore, it now sports Pixel LED headlights with signature DRLs. 

The 19-inch alloy wheels feature burnished Copper accents for contrast and a nicer look. The exterior shades include Fuji White, Arroios Grey, Tribeca Blue and Carpathian Grey. Earlier, there was a red and silver shade, which has now been delisted from the website. 

Interior Upgrades 

The interior features major upgrades and now feels more premium and sophisticated. For starters, you now get a large sliding panoramic sunroof, which allows more light to enter the cabin while also making the cabin more airy. The steering column is now electrically adjustable, thereby adding to the convenience factor. 

For a more premium experience, there is a full extended leather upgrade (more leather finishes across the cabin) and suede cloth headlining. Furthermore, there is also a new Cloud/ Ebony interior finished in Windsor leather. 

With the Autobiography trim, Land Rover will be offering the Evoque with a 14-speaker Meridian surround system for an immersive experience, satisfying the needs of the audiophiles. 

Other features include an 11.4-inch touchscreen infotainment display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, a 14-way power-adjustable driver seat, heated and ventilated front seats, multiple airbags, TPMS, a 360-degree camera and wireless phone charging.

Powertrain 

The Evoque Autobiography comes with both petrol and diesel engines. The petrol features a 2-litre petrol unit which makes 250 PS and 365 Nm, and there is a 2-litre diesel engine which churns out 204 PS and 430 Nm. Both units are paired with a 48V mild hybrid setup and a 9-speed automatic transmission, which delivers power to all four wheels. 

Rivals 

The Evoque Autobiography locks horns with Mercedes-Benz GLC, Audi Q5, and BMW X3.
