The Shadow edition is available in two colour options: Alpine White (Non-metallic) and a new Skyscraper Grey (Metallic).
On the inside, it boasts an exclusive ‘Illuminated Berlin’ interior trim, a carbon gear selector, and ambient lighting with six adjustable designs. The seat upholstery gets a combination of black and oyster colour.

Notably, this system also supports six different predefined gesture controls. Furthermore, it gets a wireless phone charger, 3D navigation and BMW’s virtual assistant.
On the safety front, it gets 6 airbags as standard along with ABS, electronic brake distribution (EBD), electronic stability control (ESC) and ISOFIX child seat mounts.

The Shadow Edition is based on the petrol 220i M Sport variant and is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 190 PS and 280 Nm. This engine powers the front wheels via a 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, enabling the car to sprint from a standstill to 100 kmph in 7.1 seconds. Furthermore, it gets three different driving modes namely ECO Pro, Comfort and Sport.
The BMW 2 Series rivals other luxury sedans like the Skoda Superb, Mercedes Benz A-Class Limousine and Audi A4.
