2022 Hyundai Tucson Bags A Role In Sony Pictures’ Uncharted Movie As The Beast

The premium midsize SUV also recently made an appearance in the ever-so-popular Spider-Man: No Way Home

Despite being relatively new, the 2022 Hyundai Tucson is bagging roles in big movies in such a short span. After its recent appearance in the super successful Spider Man: No Way Home, the premium midsize SUV will now star as the Beast in Sony Pictures’ next, the Uncharted, slated for release in India on February 18. 

There’s one big difference, though. While the Tucson was relatively stock in the web slinger, it will be all-out modified in its next outing to ensure it’s befitting of its Beast name. Hyundai’s Technical Centre in Irvine worked in close conjunction with Sony Pictures, and the concept prototype looks like it’s more than ready for the game-based movie.

The fortified bumpers, chunky off-road spec tires, and plenty of body cladding beef up the design of the SUV. Accessories like the snorkel and roof rack add to the theme of the Beast, which will be taking part in a treasure hunting escapade. We don’t want to spoil anything for the movie buffs now, so enough talk about the Beast. 

Apart from the Tucson, the Genesis G90, G80 and GV80 will also be seen in the film. These cars are featured in Sony Pictures movies because of the partnership between both the companies.

In related news, the Tucson is expected to be launched in India soon, and the Korean carmaker has started testing the SUV on our shores. It will renew its rivalry with the Jeep Compass, Volkswagen Tiguan, and Citroen C5 Aircross.
