A new spy shot of the upcoming LML electric scooter has surfaced on the internet, just a day before its launch on September 29. This development comes a day after a spy shot of the LML pedelec leaked on the internet.
The LML electric scooter will likely be called Star, and has a very futuristic design language. Even though the styling is unique, it is not outlandish. Bits like the exposed handlebar, maxi-scooter style fascia and beefy tyres render this e-scooter very appealing.
LML’s upcoming electric scooter features decent hardware too. There’s a telescopic fork and what appears to be a monoshock setup with an aluminium swingarm. For braking, the company has used disc brakes at both ends.
Furthermore, the LML electric scooter seems to be packing a decent-sized digital instrument console. It could be an LCD unit, and hopefully get a bunch of connectivity features. Lastly, the thick floorboard area suggests that the battery pack could be positioned at the bottom, which would not only give it ample underseat storage, but also aid in weight distribution.
The LML e-scooter could be priced at Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom), which would pit it against the likes of TVS iQube and the Ola S1. However, in its segment, its primary rivals are likely to be the Hero Optima CX and the upcoming Honda electric two-wheeler.
