Updated: 2 August 2026. The Honda WR-V is an upcoming SUV expected to launch in India at an estimated ₹8 lakh (ex-showroom). It is expected to get 1.2L petrol engine, a manual transmission. Once launched, it will rival the Maruti Brezza, Maruti FRONX and Mahindra Thar.

Honda has unveiled the next-generation WR-V in the Indonesian market. Unlike its forerunner that was a beefed-up Jazz, the new SUV is based on the Amaze’s platform and its design is based on the SUV RS concept. Its body shape now leans more towards a crossover than a conventional SUV, and it also breaks the sub-4m barrier with a length of 4,060mm. Its cabin is pretty much identical to the Amaze sedan but it now gets a few features from the City Hybrid’s ADAS suite. The WR-V is expected to make its way to the Indian market in the future.
