It’s the strong mid-range pull that makes the Xtreme 200R so good to ride. While second and third sectors of the Buddh International Circuit (where we were riding) isn’t the ideal place to test this aspect of the motorcycle, there was a good indication about just how well it will behave in real-world conditions, where it’s all about usable power in the mid-range. On the track, it was pretty much 5th gear throughout, except for the short-loop connection, which saw us shifting down to third. But with even with the bike in fifth, rarely was there a lack of grunt from the motor. We really can’t wait to ride this bike on the road, where we believe it’s going to be genuinely fun. Hero claims a fuel efficiency figure of 39.9kmpl. Although, mileage depends on riding style and how it is maintained.

It absolutely musical. Its buzz after 5000 RPM. Its having good torque which handles bumps brilliantly. It controls decent at 100+ speed however Hero bikes to be driven within 60 for first 5000 or 3 services. It always helps to have decent average of 40+. Test drive and always use genuine products and maintenance is very cheap considering other brands.
