• Q. I am planning between RE 350X and Jawa 42. I have never owned any of these. I am planning on a bike which can offer very good comfort, a nice city commute and a nice ride at 60-70 kmps on highways. I had almost set myself on 350x, till I started to read reviews of Jawa 42 that the engine is more refined and the ride quality is better, basically I am worried about excessive vibrations on the 350X. I am still inclined towards 350x, but want to make a more informed decision for the money I am about to spend.

See bro. 60-70kmph is a sweet spot for tbx350. It's as if the bike is custom made for you. Because for me, I want a comfortable 100 on it. Which is not comfortable. As for vibrations, yes they exist. BUT. as all say it does get better after each servicing. Also most people on the enfield are dumb a***s who don't know how to understand the engine. The simplest trick to not have vibrations is to maintain your rpm at around 3000. You'd get the hang of it by the first servicing. Then it's all heaven in terms of comfort, both ergonomically and vibration wise. But Jawa is an amazing one too. If you're excessively inclined to get the tbx. Do it. But as an owner myself, if given an option, I'd atleast test drive jawa.

Royal Enfield has come up with their best in class bike with a modern look with the authentic engine, the Vibrations are not much of a concern because compared to previous gen bikes of RE, vibrations are less, the bike runs smooth as butter after 50-60km speed, it is a value for money bike, now its been more than a month and i havent faced any kind of issues, brakes are fantastic, it stops the bike in no time and even the mileage is also quite good, its not much heavy on pockets. These are my opinions considering to my 1month of experience.

For a speed of 60 to 70 350X is perfect. of course there are vibrations but it just recedes one you reach 70. in between 70 to 100 it is just like gliding in air. For city commute this bike is so much fun. Like you I've also only read reviews of Jawa. So test drive aJawa and make your choice
