Jawa Perak Bike Latest Updates

Jawa Perak Engine

The Perak is put to work by an OBD-2 compliant, 334cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 30.64PS and 32.74Nm of torque. The motor comes paired with a six-speed transmission. Along with complying with the latest emission norms, the engine was also tuned with a larger throttle body and exhaust ports, claimed to offer better performance. Underpinnings include a double-cradle frame, which is suspended by a telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock, which gets 7-step preload adjustability. Braking is handled via a 280mm front and a 240mm rear disc with standard dual-channel ABS.

There’s only one variant for the Perak, and it comes in black colour.

Jawa Perak Design

The Perak is a quintessential bobber. It features a black theme and comes with a tan-coloured single seat, blacked-out engine, exhaust and spoke wheels. The swingarm construction is similar to the Triumph Bonneville Bobber’s ‘swing cage’ unit. This setup allows for the rear monoshock to be neatly hidden below the rider’s seat. The tail lamp is located just below the seat whereas the indicators are mounted on the rear fender. In typical bobber fashion, even the front fender is chopped and the bodywork is minimalistic.

Jawa Perak Features

The instrument console features a minimalistic design with just the speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge. The bike gets a dual-channel ABS for optimal safety. Since the wheels are spoked, it gets tubed tyres on both ends. The bike is strictly a single seater as the design of the swingarm does not accommodate a pillion seat.

Jawa Perak Competitors

At Rs 2.06 lakh, the Jawa Perak is the most affordable true-blue bobber that you can buy in the country. Its nearest rival is the Royal Enfield Classic 350, which comes with a pillion seat that can be removed to make it a single seater. The bike also goes up against the Benelli Imperiale 400. For the price of the Perak, one can also consider bikes like the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and the Honda H'ness CB350.

    Jawa perak

    I am owner of jawa perak unfortunately my experince was not good.Lets talk about some good and bad things about jawa perak bad thing.Engine is not refined its sound like like tractor and service center are also not good average to too low like in city 17 and highways 23.Not made for indian roads specially villages with too many breakers because of ground clearnceheating issue is also a reason i know higher cc bikes heat alot but this bike heat double than royal enfield so you have to wear a gear while driving all parts are damm to costly and no local macenic can repair your bike lets talk about some good things power delivery is just f*****g awesome just like any sports bike.Looks are damm god every single person look back and ask for brand due to low ground clearnce stable on highways and no viberations like re.Speedometer is also not good but it depends on person to person choice.

  • Firstly, don't compare Harley with Jawa Perak, even though both are based on a bobber design, both are way too different on specs. RE Classic is a very much city bike and its pillion seat is a sure ad-on. Perak is a very comfortable single seat long ride motorcycle, its a style motorcycle, its use will surely be limited. So if someone wants a good road presence, Perak is the machine.
  • It all depends on what one needs. If a person needs a more fuel efficient vehicle, has a need to carry a pillion rider and mostly does city riding, then of course I would put the Splendor before the RE. I am sure the Perak is a great motorcycle for a Lone Ranger with lots of cash and a passion for long rides.

Q. Can we install pillion seat to Jawa Perak?
  • It's nearly impossible for jawa to fit a pillon seat in perak. It is a bobber and the entire rear section, I mean the fender cover and rear wheel is a part of swing arm. It's basically a part of rear suspension and expect it to move up and down as a whole. So I don't think rear seat's possible.

  • Tubeless tyres with Tube I checked the tyres myself and I find out it is actually a tubeless tyres. However, the Jawa installed a tube because it's a spoke wheels tyres.
