Honda CB350RS Bike Latest Updates

Honda has launched the 2023 iteration of the CB350RS. Check out what's new here. Honda previously launched a range of accessory kits for the CB350RS and the H'ness CB350. For more details about pricing and other information, check out our story.

Honda CB350RS Engine

The CB350RS is powered by the same 348.36cc single-cylinder counterbalanced air-cooled engine with fuel injection. It produces 21.07PS at 5500rpm and 30Nm at 3000rpm, just like it does on the H’ness. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Everything is held together by a single-downtube frame and suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. Braking hardware consists of a 310mm disc up front, assisted by a 240mm disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS standard.

Honda CB350RS Variants

The Honda CB350RS is offered in three variants: DLX, DLX Pro and DLX Pro Dual Tone.

Honda CB350RS Design

Designed to be more youthful than the H’ness, the CB350RS is differentiated by a ring around the LED headlamp, a new underseat LED tail lamp, new LED turn indicators, fork gaiters, a bash plate, a slightly more upward-angled exhaust, a sportier grab rail as well as chopped and blacked-out fenders at both ends. The flatter handlebar and stubbier tail section give the RS a sportier appearance, as do the more vibrant colour schemes.

Honda CB350RS Features

Honda has given the CB350RS an all-LED lighting system, but the design is different compared to the H’ness. The RS’ tail lamp and indicators seem to be inspired by the sportier Honda CB300R. The CB350RS uses the same semi-digital instrument cluster as the retro roadster. The new DLX Pro trim of the CB350RS now comes with smartphone connectivity and voice control feature.

Honda CB350RS Competitors

If you want a retro-riding experience at the price of the CB350RS, you could also take a look at the Jawa 42, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Royal Enfield Scram 411 & the TVS Ronin.

  • Battery issue

It was all good until there was a battery issue, And when i asked the road side assistance they said its only for 1 year, And mine is 1year 2 months old, Even then they are saying battery warranty is also 1 year, And with in 1 year i had to buy rsa as the bike wont start by pushing which costs around 2000 and buy battery which is also around 2000.Even i asked them which battery do i need to buy as i planned to reduce the towing cost, They said they will get back to me and no one will respond.I contacted adyar branch and they are reluctant to respond as i bought the bike in vizag. Now completely i have to depend on local mechanic what ever he puts i need to accept as the bike wont start even by pushing.Better buy a bike which has kick start. Will never suggest any one to buy this bike.

  • Owning this bike for about

Owning this bike for about 6 months now.Close to 6000 kms completed.2 free services done pros : smooth bike, Good styling, Its got a nice exhaust.Been getting a city mileage of 36- 37 in bumber to bumber traffic and a mileage of 41- 43 kmpl on highways.Cons:even though 30 nm torque is shown in papers but in reality it doesn't feel like it also constant shifting is required to avoid knocking. We can only use 5th gear comfortably at 65kmph and above. While riding with pillion the bike feels underpowered.Overall verdict: good bike (if you are mostly riding alone) with excellent mileage figures.

    Long rides

It's the best bike, On straights if your riding skills are optimum it'll give you an avg of 45-44 kmpl.I get 39-38 even in the city.Use less brakes, Use pure fuel only. It's relaxing, On long rides, Had 11 hrs with my cv, No back pain no fatigue.Excellent grip on the road too.One can face issue, As it had mudguard problems and one which company is giving looks cheap. So don't ride it during monsoon.:).

Q. I travel with my wife on Apache RTR 160 daily for 60-70 kms, mostly on highway. I am planning on purchasing a bike which would be comfortable & low maintenance. 1) Considering the above distance, what type of bike should I purchase? I was planning on Jawa 42 2.1, CB 350/350 RS, Meteor or should I wait for Hunter 350?For me low maintenance is more important than an engine which THUMPS. 2) Are there any other bikes apart from the above 4, which would be suitable for me?Also, I have a budget of ₹2-2.5 lakhs.?
  • As per your requirements, we would suggest you go for Meteor 350 as it gives a mileage of 41.88kmpl and the healthy fuel efficiency, 10,000km oil-change intervals and 5000km/6 month service inspections make it more endearing. We would also suggest you could also consider Himalayan as it gives the mileage of 37.8kmpl and has a low maintenance cost. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride of all four bikes to know about the performance and comfort better, follow the link. • Royal Enfield just attract. Bikes often break.Himalayan often broke. Build quality of Royal Enfield are not up to standard.Go for Java or Honda . Honda in perticular because hinda services everywhere. Jawa is not everywhere
  • Honda Big Wing service is in pretty limited places. You cant service your bike at normal honda service center.
Q. Himalayan 2021 or Honda cb350rs ? Need to take a decision ASAP, please provide with some good insights.
  • Selecting between the Honda CB350RS and Royal Enfield Himalayan would depend on certain factors such as your budget, preference of the segment, features required, ride quality, performance preference, etc. The spot-on off-road ergonomics, allowing the rider to knee-grip the tank naturally, with an effortless reach to the handlebar, add to the Himalayan’s comfort and confidence to venture into the unknown. Moreover, Royal Enfield has introduced 2021 Himalayan with more features and more comfort. On the other hand, for people looking for quality and reliability, the Honda CB350RS would be the right pick. It does make a compelling case for those who are looking to have a bit more zing in their retro experience. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details. • First of all whats your need both are ls sohc engine, ifvyou think for all kind of road and also for long touring then himalayan is best because long travel suspension with better ground clearnence, windshield and spoke wheel with luggage caring capcity makes it a better tourer,on the other hand if you think about highway based tour then this hond engine is really fab, afterall its a smooth vibration free smooth enginge but some tripical turren is problemetic for that die to its design, both are half duplex frame but many thing you have to chenge to make it a tourer,so not its your choice that you want a adv or a simple looking motor
Q. Which bike would be better to pick between CB350RS and Meteor350 based on the performance and the cost?
  • Selecting between the Honda CB350RS and Royal Enfield Meteor 350 would depend on certain factors such as your budget, preference of the segment, features required, ride quality, performance preference, etc. For people looking for quality and reliability, the Honda CB350RS would be the right pick. The bike packs the same counterbalancer engine from the Hness CB350 that is much refined and churns out 21.07PS at 5500rpm and 30Nm at 3000rpm, just like it does on the H’ness. It does make a compelling case for those who are looking to have a bit more zing in their retro experience. Royal Enfield Meteor 350, on the other hand, is a good option for those looking for a comfortable city slicker and fancy occasional long-distance trips. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort.
