Another surprise from Adishwar Auto Group, the company that got us brands like Benelli, Keeway, Moto Morini and Zontes, at Auto Expo 2023 was the Benda Darkflag, a cruiser that has a really awesome party trick - a 496cc V4 engine! This motor makes a reasonable 53.6PS and 42Nm, but then at 231kg, it is quite a heavy bike for its given output. This mid-size motor is packing two sweet 2-into-1 exhausts, which look super futuristic thanks to their flat design. But the whole bike does look delectable, and its long and low profile remind us a lot of the Indian Scout. The Darklflag also gets an LED headlight and a massive single analogue speedometer unit with a small digital inset. For braking, it gets disc brakes at both ends.
While we think the Benda Darkflag would’ve worked really well in India for cruiser lovers, Moto Vault has no plans of bringing it to India any time soon. It is only being displayed at Auto Expo 2023 to gauge audience reactions.
