- Volkswagen offers the T-Roc with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that puts out 150PS of power and 200Nm of torque paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox. The T-Roc is feature loaded and gets all the modern day amenities such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, six airbags, keyless entry, etc. The SUV is priced at Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom India). On the other hand, MG Hector is available with one petrol and one diesel engine option. The 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol unit stand at 143PS/250Nm paired either to a 6-speed MT or DCT, while the BS6 2.0-litre diesel engine continues to put out 170PS/350Nm mated to a 6-speed MT. - MG hector and T roc are two different cars.Hector has soft suspension set up so it has got excellent ride comfort on straight roads but on flip side it's driving dynamics are poor. On the contrary T roc has got firm suspension setup so it has got excellent driving dynamics but at the same time not very comfortable ride on the back seat.O

- You know the Owner is not Chinese, but it is actually a subsidiary of Govt. of China. Just like Hindustan Motors was. Also Chinese cars are not very respected in China. Ford motors is making cars in China that are selling very well and preferred over Chinese cars. We can talk again when brand is atleast 5 years old in India. Kia and Hyundai have been successful at what they do for decades now. You know there are Kia/Hyundai cars sold in USA. but No Chinese brands dare to operate in USA.
- Having owned one I can confidently say MG Hector is an excellent car and it's better in most aspects in its segment. The look and feel is like cars one segment above. One thing to note is the fact that MG is an old British brand which still remains however now owned by one of the biggest Chinese companies, times are changing. Imagine Jaguar or Land Rover, owned by Tata but its still not an Indian car right?
- I don't know about MG but Kia I heard that Kia was have a bad engine on UAE the old one but I don't know about new engine

- MG Hector is a better package in overall comfort and features . But Kia Seltos has better drive quality . Do take a test drive of both the vehicles.
