Volkswagen T-Roc Overview
Volkswagen has globally unveiled the facelifted T-ROC SUV. It features a few cosmetic updates inside and out, and packs a safety-focused feature list. The exterior gets a new LED light bar, connecting the headlights, new bumpers and new LED tail lights.
On the inside, it gets a new floating touchscreen infotainment display with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, adaptive cruise control, lane assistance system, and a redesigned steering wheel - from VW’s ID range of cars.
Volkswagen will offer the European-spec model with five powertrain options. However, the India-spec model could be powered by a 150PS 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol paired with the 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic.
Back in India, the facelifted T-ROC could be launched in mid 2022, commanding a premium over the current model that is priced at Rs 21.35 lakh (ex-showroom). Its alternatives are the Jeep Compass and Skoda Karoq.
