MG Astor vs MG Comet EV

I am having my new MG Astor from last three months now and let me tell you, it was an interesting experience. The Astor’s 1.3L turbo petrol engine paired with a 6 speed automatic transmission offered a smooth and engaging drive. With 138 bhp and 220 Nm of torque, highway driving was effortless. The panoramic sunroof was a hit with the kids, who loved looking at the clear blue skies.The backseat space felt a bit cramped specially for taller adults.

A modern day car full of high tech facilities and better functions and comfort, the Mg Astor is an expensive model. It is different from the MG comet as in structure, functions, features and looks. This model gives a very high performance range and has a very powerful engine generating good amount of cc. Although its fun to drive and quite engaging but the cons are there such as it is not economical and the rearward visibility is narrow.

Supreme cars are designed most magnificently and what comes after it is its maintenance and performance that matters the most. The MG Astor is a fusion of the best of all. Being a remarkable model, its maintenance also does not cost much and is quite easy to handle. In addition to this, performance wise its good. The mileage provided is average and the ground clearance is good. If you want to own a decent car that does not cause any problems, this one is a total yes.

Six months into driving the MG Astor and it is been quite the ride. Under the hood the Astor offers a choice between a 1.5 liter and a 1.3 liter turbo engine. I chose the turbo and it does not disappoint with its 140 PS power.Another downside is the space. While the front row is comfy the back gets a bit cramped and storage spaces are somewhat limited. Overall if MG could tweak its efficiency and spacing issues the Astor could potentially outshine its rivals

I have been driving the MG Comet EV for a few months now, primarily for my daily commute in the busy streets of Bangalore. The 17.3 kWh battery pack delivers a decent range of around 200 km on a single charge, which is perfect for my city use. It is incredibly easy to move in traffic all thanks to its compact size. Charging this EV is really easy with only 7 hours needed for a full charge using a standard home charger.The seats are comfortable, but the limited boot space is a down point when you have luggage.

Well known among the electric vehicles, the MG comet EV is quite affordable and easy to drive around. my friend has this model and he uses it for his daily commute. With the MG Comet EV it is time to switch to ev models with time and increasing technology. From affordability to features, this on ehas to be a top notch without any doubt. Heard from my sister that she has bought this model months back and is enjoying the performance and quality rides with this. She says that its quite easy to maintain and drive that she is also planning to go on a solo trip driving this car herself. The range of distance is enough and charges quick.

Having recently purchased the MG Comet EV I am quite taken by its futuristic design and compact dimensions ideal for zipping through congested city streets. The driving experience is smooth with decent acceleration and handling. The Comet EV's range is about 200 kilometers which suits my daily needs well though a longer range would have been more reassuring for unplanned long trips. Despite these considerations the MG Comet EV is an exciting glimpse into what everyday electric mobility could look like offering a silent emission free driving experience at an affordable cost.
