Q. Confused between Honda Amaze CVT and Hyundai i20 CVT. Budget is 10 lakh.
- Both i20 CVT Sporta/Asta as well as Honda Amaze V CVT( prefer this over SCVT as it has 15 inch alloy wheels and will give you smoother and comfortable ride over bumpy roads) I would vote for V CVT instead of I20 for 2 reasons:1) Drive comfort and smoothness - is way ahead of Hyundai i202) Boot is 420 litres -- even if you do add CNG later - you have a lot of space left to use for luggatei20 -- is also a very powerful car - though the handling is a bit rough - but you won't get much space left if you add a CNG down the line.Both are good for long drives. if well maintained , would easily last you 10 years.
Q. Which one is better i20 or amaze?
- Elite i20 is a good car, very good comfort level, good build quality materials used inside & outside of car but need to compromise with mileage of petrol i20. One thing is sure once you enter inside of car & drive it, you feel premium car like Audi driving experience. Performance wise car takes times to get pick up in 2nd gear, It easily go 60 - 100 km without any extra efforts very smoothly. Need to say if you are looking for premium class with good comfort can go blindly with i20 but mileage wise slightly slow compare to any Maruti vehicles... What else to say further.... As i have Elite i 20 Asta O Petrol 2017 model and driving busy Bangalore city traffic gets around 11 -12 km in city & highway around 16 - 18 km depends on driving pattern. You can easily get around 17 km with smooth driving on highway & 12 km in city with full time Ac. Even i gets same till now. Maintenance come around 5- 7 thousands with service interval 10000 km
- I20 is one of the car in the market leading with sales about 9000 to 11000+Vehicles per month. It leads the market with Hatchback segment. If you wish to buy A hatchback this is best buy .However Baleno and honda jazz you can compare with these vehicles ..Regarding Honda amaze is a Compact sedan with best in class features it is now second larger sold vehicle in the segment . both vehicles are good vehicles. Amaze is a practical family car. I20 is good in City ride. .
- If you need more power, more features, and hatchback car is your choice then should opt for i20.If styling, better space, reliability is your concern then Amaze is good. Mileage, I'd say both the cars tend to give out similar numbers. But you do get that big car feel in the Amaze's cabin, similar to kind of City experience.
Q. I'm confused between Honda Amaze, i20 and Baleno, which is better?
- If you need a car with boot space and a sedate outlook, its Amaze, the I 20 and Baleno are sporty looking hatchbacks. If you are looking for value for money and less expensive servicing - Baleno.
- Its light in weight. Sometimes the steering goes out of control when you instantly accelerate. The engine is same as of city, so the pickup is good.
- Go for the amaze if U are in for bootspace over legroom and the Maruti branding.... otherwise...the Baleno is the best and most VFM model out there

I have 2016 model hyundai elite i20, For family use, It's a great car and enough power for better cruising but for people who wants better performance and enthusiastic drive, The car is much behind it's rivals.The car weighs almost 1.2 tonnes and it has 1.2l na engine and the car is detuned.The suspension is on softer side, Above 90 km/h it is not so great.The best thing is it's tyres, Those are 195/55/r16 provides much grip and confidence and the clutch is smooth and enables a good city drive and manoeuvring through traffic is easy, Steering is good till 70 but on higher speed is much great.The car has a good build quality and mileage is nearly 14-15 and in case of performance, I think the diesel engine is better than petrol engine, The pickup is much good for diesel and the car has only minimal vibration, The aftersale service is much better parts are easily available, For family uses it is first in it\'s segment with better boot space and leg space and of safety aspects it has 6 airbags and which is good.

I20 defines the class of a comfortable hatchback.The main thing hyundai has focused is comfort and convenience without being irrespective to safety with an fair built quality but at top notch, The features like 6 airbags.And when it comes to drive quality it's pretty smooth gliding upto 2k and 2500 rpm but you want a thrill? just push the pedal after 2.5k rpm and believe me it's done.Being an suv and muv fan this hatchback made me fall in love with it.Such an astonishing looks and that projector setup with led drls!!.
