Q. Which bike is best in Honda CB Unicorn 150 or 150 Pulsar?
  • Despite being present in the market for more than 15 years, the Bajaj Pulsar 150 still remains the king of the 150cc segment. The Bajaj Pulsar 150 still remains a great option if you’re looking for an entry-level 150cc motorcycle. The motor offers likeable performance with a hint of brashness which made the Pulsar brand so popular among the youth which still remains a well-rounded motorcycle. On the other hand, the Honda Unicorn might not possess the same visual pizzazz of the Pulsar 150, but what it does offer is a bulletproof engine which is frugal as well. The Unicorn 150 is a better bet if you spend most of your time riding in city traffic and the engine refinement offered is still the benchmark in the segment.Do take the test ride for both the bikes in order to pick the best matching your needs and requirements. • Unicorn 150 is way better than Pulsar , due to its riding position , you will get back pain after a few years, you can sit straight and ride , which is good for a City with traffic jams , and if you go long distance like more than 150 km ,then also you will ride it very comfortably ,and talking about suspension , it has good suspension technology. In India there is famous saying "yatha naam tatha gun" it suits this bike .
  • For a daily cummute and refined motorcycle you need cb unicorn is best as pulsar is not refined is parts make a lot if sound but is if you want a fast bike which has the best power delivery you should go for pulsar 150

Q. Which is better among Pulsar 150 and Honda Hornet 160R?
  • First of all in 150 cc segment Bajaj offers 3 pulsar models. 1-Classic 150. 2-Pulsar 150 standard. 3-pulsar 150 Dual Disc. Classic and standard offers 55kmpl mileage, where as dual disc offers 50kmpl mileage due to more weight, dual disc, wide tyre. So if you want more mileage then go for classic or standard according personal favourite. If you want style and mileage you can manage then go for dual disc. It is very good handler, best in city as well as highway ride. Next if you are considering hornet 160R then it will not provide as much mileage as pulsar. It will provide around 40kmpl mileage. It has much fat tyre than pulsar. Weight is also more. So it will not as good as in city. You ca say it will provide more grip on high way while breaking. But comparing both pulsar is more ajile, you can ride smoothly in city traffic. The feeling of Flawless Riding experience you can only feel in pulsar. So better go for Pulsar.
  • My pulsar is 2005 model. I have heard that new pulsar doesn't meet that quality. But hope when coming to street you can find more pulsar 150 than hornet... Please compare the spec too before you buy.
  • As per my experience and the design of vehicle pulsar 150 is best for safe ride Because the scratch guard is extended and footrest of pillion will not let for direct contact of the body during an accident. And there is good road grip. Better wear riding gears
