Hiiii i'm a proud owner of the tvs apache rtr 160 4vit's been 9 months since i brought homeand had made a milestone of 10, 000 kms ease and it's still doing good and rolling onit might be the best rtr yetthe 160 cc engine is a punchy one and enough power and torque for city and highway!!!it's quick and overtaking are easetvs have done a great job at building the machineit's refinement are on par with with the japaneseit looks muscular and best among its segmentthe build quality seems pretty solid and i've faced any issues and not even a breakdownservice costs are cheap.Around 4–5k ₹ per annumthe perfectly tuned showa suspension helps and inspires in the corners as tvs says it's not a sports bike and it's a race machinei get a mileage around 40–45kmpl which is more enough for the powerful 160ccwhich even has a top speed of 130's which is best in the segmentthis bike will grab attention on the road as it's a eye catching onedefinitely a must buyride safe.

I have been owning & riding an apache rtr 160 for the past 9 years.I have rode a lot of other vehicles but nothing matches the performance and sporty look of apache in this segment.With regular services this machine is a beast for indian roads, I have been on long rides as well as daily city rides, It is good in all ways such as comfort, Mileage, Speed & braking.Recently i have checked the mileage of the bike as it came close to ~46kmpl in city conditions, Which i guess no other bikes of this 150 cc segment can match after riding for 9 years or 1, 00, 000+ kms.Pros : rider comfortsporty lookmileagelow cost of maintenancepickupcons : pillion seat comfort not suitable for long ridesengine heat transfers to bodyvibrations in handle bar and instrumentation cluster while riding above 110 km/h speed.

I am a fan boy of Apache bikes because of its looks and exhaust sound so i bought a Apache RTR 160 and i was stunned by its performance i use the bike for daily commute and some tours and my daily commute is in Bengaluru and the bike is comfortable with the traffic and i do tours i traveled 600 kms in a day without any issues and the bike was comfortable and yes there is some vibes around some places at high revs thats not a issue once you ride the bike you will get used to it and it gives a felling of raw power being delivered and Apache has the best looks and performance in its segment and the build quality is best The mileage i got is 45-52 After sales service is just prefect here in Bengaluru if here is any problem they take it seriously and fix it Every one who rides Apache will love it💖RTR💖

Apache RTR 160 is a bike with good looks and styling but the major drawback is that it gives lots of vibrations even at lower Rpm. The side fairings, handlebars and the footrest vibrates a lot. The visor looks stylish but it doesnot prevent the windblast to a huge extend, this makes ride difficult in highways. The fuelgauge, doesn't provide appropriate info( Not sure, if this problem is for all bikes ). Later, i have ridden the new RTR 160 4V and am happy that the vibrations have been reduced to a certain extend, and the handlebars have been changed from clip on to ordinary handlebars, which reduced the vibrations in the handlebar and the side fairings are removed and the tank is sculpted well and big and thus the vibration on the tank is reduced. And finally the overall ride quality is good.

I have been driving it for 6 years and it's speed is incredible and breaks like butter and it gives smooth driving experience and i will prefer everyone to buy it.

Initially the bike was good for one year. Later starting trouble comes both in button and kick start, Scooter will stops itself if we didn't accelerate and even after did service on that it's continued the same problem, Showroom said need to change some parts to fix the issue and it's coming under warranty. Wondering why they did manufactured some unreliable parts. I never used a bike scooter like.

I am unable to start in winters, Meaning it takes a long time and everything is fine, It gives me very good mileage and in my village everyone rides this bike, Tvs rtr.

Bike of baadshah, King of safety.Act's like wife when you are in drunk.Care like mother when you are in disturb.Support like friend when you are needy.!.

Driving experience with appache is great.But the durability of bike is a concern for me within one year i have experienced many problems with the bike whether if it's disk break issue.Engine light is always on, Doesn't matter if the bike is serviced or not.Gear shifting is not smooth, The electronic systems fitted are inferior quality, As within one year i had to change my ecm / ecu unit.Which is for about 5000/- to 6000/- rupees.Without which the bike would not work as your whole bike and it's fuel injectors are based on ecm.

My bike is 5 yrs old, Now i get mileage of 40km/l.Everything is ok after correct maintenance.But if we talk about comfort, Then i can say that its seating position is slightly uncomfortable for long ride, I.E.Above 100km.If pillion rider bend on the rider, Then full load forces on hands.Another uncomfortable thing is its left hand clutch lever.The lever is little thin in cross section area, Than other bikes, As a result left hand finger can not contact widely, And get pain after city ride.

I like riding mostly i ride in cities but on weekends i take my bike to yamuna expressway and ride it hard so it gives me average of around 37 and without more struggle and efforts it handle the load of 2 person at a speed of 110 and 114, Contineously for 130 km.Sometimes vibration feels in whole motorcycle but sfter riding 2, 3 km it feels normal.

Accessories not giving very comfortable and not co operative with coustomer any dealer shop and any show room y are relise the product in the country and worst experience all item given to the coustomer very bad at tvs accessories

I was attracted to it because of the graphics, and the exhaust note but was carried away by the performance on offer too. Rides are very stable, but refinement becomes an issue at higher speeds. Short gearing, hence easy to make quick overtakes in the city while maintaining a good mileage (at one point, It gave me 58kmpl, currently at 50kmpl). I had it for the past 10 years but didn't have any issues with it. The only con is the stock tyre set, They offer no feedback on the front and the rear too feels like it'll lose the grip.

The apache rtr 160, With 15.2 bhp, 270-mm petal shaped front disc brake, Engine with an all black treatment along with the alloy wheels and exhaust just looks awesome (reminds me of street hawk).The stripe runs from the front mudguard to the tank and all the way back to the tail piece is striking.An engine guard is nestled at the bottom of the engine.The side panels have a matt grey finish.The bike also had very easy handling comfort and most off all in a city like bangalore with mixed traffic conditions of either empty roads to hour long jams still gave 45+ according to my friend who owned an apache.
