For the first time ever, the Octavia gets the brand’s Sportline trim, which packs sportier design updates

The Skoda Octavia has got the Sportline trim for the first time, which is essentially a sportier-looking model without the manic performance of a vRS. Currently, Skoda offers the Superb Sportline in India, while the same could be introduced in the Octavia later.

Here are three things that set apart the Octy Sportline from the standard model.

Sportier Looks

This is, of course, evident from the name. All the chrome elements have been traded for a stealthier stealthier black finish. But if you like a little bling, you can consider the optional 18-inch dual-tone ‘Vega’ alloy wheels, which look similar to those on the RS 245. Seventeen-inch blacked-out alloy wheels come as standard. Even the ORVMs and rear diffuser are finished in… you guessed it… black.

‘Simply Clever’ Addition

The Octavia Sportline is based on the Style variant, sporting the same all-black dashboard. The Sportline, being the sportier model, comes with a three-spoke steering wheel with a ‘Sportline’ badge and sports seats with integrated headrests. There’s also a ‘Simply Clever’ feature: a USB C-port in the inner rearview mirror to charge your dash-cam.
