These updates come at no extra cost; the MPV is still priced at Rs 5.5 lakh

The Renault Triber’s features have been reorganised in all four trims, viz, RXE, RXL, RXT, and RXZ. Some new features and styling elements have been introduced, while a few have been discarded. This update comes at no extra cost; the Triber is still priced between Rs 5.5 lakh and Rs 7.95 lakh.

We have compiled all that has been added (and those that have been scrapped):

RXE

Added Features:

Body-colour side underbody sill

RXL

Added Features:

Rear power windows
Roof rails with 50kg load carrying capacity
Chrome inserts for side AC vents
Body-colour side underbody sill

Axed Features:

Rear AC vents
Body-colour ORVMs and door handles (now finished in Matte Black)
The chrome on the grille and instrument cluster surround been done away with
Side body decal
Glossy black inserts on the dash

RXT

Added Features:

Mystery Black ORVMs
Body-colour side underbody sill

Axed Features:

Cooled glove box
Eco Scoring feature in infotainment
Driver-side seat back pocket
The chrome around the instrument cluster done away with

RXZ

Added Features:

Mystery Black ORVMs
Body-colour side underbody sill
New gear knob design

Axed Features:

The fabric from the door pad done away with
Eco Scoring feature in infotainment

Trivia

The Triber is powered by a 72PS 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.
It can be had in five colours: Metal Mustard, Cedar Brown, Moonlight Silver, Electric Blue, and Ice Cool White.
As mentioned above, the sub-4 metre MPV is still priced between Rs 5.5 lakh and Rs 7.95 lakh.
At this price point, it locks horns with the Datsun GO Plus, Ford Figo, Maruti Suzuki Swift, and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
