Tork Motors Bags Investment From Ratan Tata

Tork Motors seems to be getting ready for the launch of the T6X

Tork Motors has managed to earn some more funds for its electric motorcycle project from Ratan Tata, the chairman emeritus of Tata Group. While the amount is still undisclosed, this investment comes right on the heels of the launch of Tork’s first motorcycle, the T6X, which the company says will take place soon.

Tork is already working towards setting up its own fast charging infrastructure, the first of which was installed last week. This is the same strategy that fellow Indian electric two-wheeler start-up, Ather Energy, employed when launching its 450 electric scooter. These charging stations will come in handy as they will be able to charge the T6X from nought to 80 per cent in an hour. The T6X will also be able to cover 100km on a single charge and have a top speed of 100kmph.

Here’s the company’s official press statement:

  • Shubham | 1 month ago @ Vaibhav | For a flagship 100km range is just not enough! 100 kms at a speed of 100 kmph is good, of course the claimed mileage will more than user mileage but still its better than revolt rv400 which provides 80@80kmph 0 Reply
