Vidita Singh, a leading Indian automotive artist, has been invited by the Automotive Fine Arts Society (AFAS) to showcase her art at the Pebble Beach Concours. The event is scheduled for 26 August 2018 on Monterey, California.
Vidita is a self-taught artist and also the princess of Barwani, Madhya Pradesh. Most of her work relies on the use of watercolours, charcoal and oil on canvas. Some of her famous work is the ‘Ford Centenary Celebration in India’ canvas. Her works have also been displayed at the Auto Expo 2018, 2011 Cartier Concours d'Elegance and many other international exhibits.
Now she also holds the honour of becoming the first Indian artist and one of the few female artists around the world to exhibit her work at the Pebble Beach Concours exhibition. Along with her, works of artists like Tom Hale, Dennis Hoyt, Ken Eberts, Barry Rowe, Jay Koka will also be displayed.
Interested exhibitors can see her artwork on display at the AFAS marquee tent, located on 18th fairway of the Pebble Beach golf course, during the annual Pebble Beach Concours classic car show.
Commenting on the occasion, Vidita Singh said, “To be selected by the Automotive Fine Arts Society to show at Pebble Beach and to be exhibiting amongst the automotive artists I admire is an honour and a dream come true. I hope my work does justice in portraying the fantastic history India has with cars, to the international automotive community.”
