Hyundai has marked a new achievement with the production of its latest offering, the Alcazar three-row SUV.
Rolled out of Tamil Nadu, this specific Alcazar marked the 10 millionth car to be produced by Hyundai in India. With this milestone, the Korean carmaker has also become the fastest to do so. This can be partially credited to the success of Hyundai’s current popular models such as the Creta SUV, Venue sub-four metre SUV,i20, and Grand i10 Nios hatchback, which on an average record 10,000 sales per month consistently.
Right from the start, models like the Santro had garnered massive popularity leading to Hyundai’s success. Other models like the Elantra, Xcent, Aura, Verna, Tucson, and i20 have also performed decent well over the years.
Hyundai has recently launched the Alcazar, priced from Rs 16.30 lakh to Rs 20.14 lakh. The three-row SUV will take on the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and the upcoming Mahindra XUV700.
