Festive season means good news for the two-wheeler industry as it’s the best time to ramp up sales and offer the best of products and solutions to buyers. As we wait for the festivities to begin, one of India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturers, Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India seems to have started early by providing added convenience to its customers. Today, HMSI joined hands with HDFC ERGO general insurance as a preferred insurance partner for its products in India. This union will benefit customers by providing a comprehensive two-wheeler insurance cover.
As a part of this alliance, Honda two-wheeler customers can save 40 per cent on own damage premium over former tariff. There are other advantages too. Customers can make use of near-cashless repairs in case of any damage, optional zero depreciation benefit which gives access to unlimited claim settlement and finally a digital interface through an app for claim settlement on your smartphone with a turn-around time of only three days.
Speaking at the tie-up, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Honda two-wheelers India expressed, ‘This is truly a win-win situation for our customers. The two-wheeler insurance segment is rapidly evolving with renewals and multi-year policies on the rise. Our partnership with HDFC ERGO general insurance company will give our valued customers more convenience.’
A lot of two-wheelers running on Indian roads are still not insured. Thus, it seems to be a substantial move to educate two-wheeler buyers in the country to opt for insurance by making it more convenient and hassle-free.
