Ford India Now Offering Extended Warranty For Up To 1,50,000km

Majority of Ford’s lineup, including BS4 models, can avail of these packages

  • Models that can avail of these plans include the Freestyle, Figo, Aspire, Endeavour and EcoSport in both BS4 and BS6 guise.

  • Ford has also introduced the Any Time Warranty package that covers up to 1 year/20,000km for vehicles that have already lapsed their factory/extended warranty plans.

  •  Extended warranty plans only cover mechanical and electrical failures and labour charges for these repairs.

Ford India has introduced extended warranty plans with the coverage now up to 1,50,000km or five years. The best part is the majority of Ford’s lineup, including the Freestyle, Figo, Aspire, Endeavour and EcoSport, can avail of these schemes. This is in addition to the fact that a new Ford model is already offered a warranty plan covering 2 years/ 1,00,000km as standard. These plans are also available for the BS4 iterations of these models. Keep in mind that costs differ from model to model.

The carmaker has also introduced Any Time Warranty package for vehicles that have already completed their factory/extended warranty periods. It essentially offers all the benefits of the extended warranty plan for 1-year/20,000km, whichever comes first. Vehicles that have completed their factory or extended warranty within 72 months from the date of sales with less than 1,20,000km on the odometer are eligible for this plan.

Ford’s extended warranty plans cover costs of mechanical and electrical failures as well as labour charges for the repairs. It does not cover periodic maintenance services, parts damaged due to wear and tear as well as accident damage, tyres and fuel.

These extended warranty plans come after what has been a busy couple of months for the Ford. It started with the launch of the Endeavour Sport and the slight price hike for the EcoSport. For more details on the warranty plans, head here
