Everve Motors To Unveil New Electric Scooter At Auto Expo 2020

• The electric scooter will be unveiled on February 6 and will go on sale by the last quarter of 2020.
• It will be packed with features like navigation, ride modes and Over The Air (OTA) updates.
• The electric startup says the new scooter will have a top speed of 110kmph.
• Its lithium-ion battery pack can be charged fully via a 5A socket.

Everve Motors will be unveiling its first electric scooter at Auto Expo 2020. The Pune-based electric startup claims that its upcoming scooter will be the most premium electric scooter to be sold in India. The company hasn’t specified whether the premium aspect will come in the form of fantastic build quality and high-spec components or a host of features. Everve will have to come up with something special to back up its claim given that electric scooters like the Ather 450X, Bajaj Chetak and the TVS iQube have already set the bar quite high.

For now, Everve says its sporty moto scooter will get features like navigation, vehicle location and over the air updates. It claims that the upcoming scooter will have one of the most powerful electric motors used on an electric scooter. The scooter will have a top speed of 110kmph, which would make it faster than the other premium electric scooters on sale currently. Finally, the company says that the scooter’s lithium-ion batteries will be capable of being charged fully in 5 hours via a household 5A socket. Expect the company to showcase a prototype of the scooter at Auto Expo 2020 while the production version could go on sale during the last quarter of 2020.

With an ARAI certification and a registered number plate in the offing, its unique stance, wide and low high-spirited look, and futuristic detailing makes it a premium lifestyle e-scooter. Currently, in its prototype stage, the e-scooter is set to hit the roads by the last quarter of 2020. Its lithium-ion battery is customized to perfection and its motor is one of the most powerful ones to be used in our country.
