Aprilia & Vespa Scooters Offer Festive Discounts

To cash in on the upcoming festive season Piaggio has rolled out exciting offers for its scooter range. The Italian two-wheeler giant is offering discounts on its Vespa range of scooters and the Aprilia SR 150 range. As part of the Ganesh Chaturti and Onam offer, the Aprilia SR 150 and the SR 150 Race will be available with free accessories that include the crash kit and insurance worth Rs 4,000. The discount will be valid from August 25 to September 5. The Aprilia SR 150 is the first offering from the iconic Italian brand to be made in India at Piaggio’s manufacturing facility in Baramati, Maharashtra. The SR 150 is amongst the fastest scooters on sale in India and it does stand apart from its rivals with its sporty styling and large 14-inch wheels. Powering it is a single-cylinder, 150cc engine that delivers 11.5PS of power and 11.5Nm of peak torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a CVT gearbox. The scooter employs telescopic front forks and monoshock unit at the back to handle suspension duties. The scooter runs on 14-inch wheels wrapped with 120/70-section tyres at both ends. The Aprilia SR 150 Race has a fuel tank capacity of 7 litres while seat height is 775mm. Braking is done by 220mm disc brake at front and 140mm drum brake at the rear.

Piaggio is also offering discounts on the Vespa premium range of scooters. Now you can book a stylish Vespa scooter with a special down payment scheme for just Rs 3,600. Also, one can get accessories ranging from Rs 2,000-6,000 depending on the model. The Vespa range of scooters is offered in two engine options - 125cc and 150cc. The Vespa scooters are renowned for their retro styling that makes them look unique and make a style statement like no other scooters, but they do come at a premium price tag, being priced between Rs 70,000-90,000 in our two-wheeler market.
