Facelifted Kia Seltos is available to book unofficially.
A test mule was recently spotted without any camouflage, revealing the tweaked design touches.
New features will include ADAS and a panoramic sunroof.
160PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine is expected to debut with this facelift.
It could be launched in July 2023.
The facelifted Kia Seltos has been due for a launch in India for quite some time now, but the wait is almost over as you can now book the compact SUV at select dealerships, indicating a launch is expected as soon as July. It was also recently spotted testing without any camouflage and here’s what we know about it so far:

The test mule revealed that the facelifted compact SUV will retain its Tiger Nose grille but in a bigger orientation, along with LED headlights with reprofiled DRLs. You get tweaked bumpers at the front as well as the rear, while 18-inch alloys from the X-Line trim can be seen shining in the profile. You also get connected tailights and twin exhaust tips at the rear.

The facelifted Seltos should borrow the same layout as the international model, which features dual 10.25-inch screens and a redesigned central console. Here’s a detailed report on what to expect from the cabin.
As for its features, one of the biggest additions to its brochure is going to be ADAS technology, the presence of which has been confirmed by a radar module at the front bumper. Another big addition will be the panoramic sunroof along with possible ventilated and heated seats borrowed from the new Verna. Six airbags could be standard and other safety equipment should include ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system and ISOFIX mounts.

The current 1.5-litre 115PS petrol and 116PS diesel options should get a 6-speed iMT and CVT for the NA petrol and a 6-speed automatic for the diesel engine. Also, the 160PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine is expected to debut in the Seltos with this update, and should be paired to a DCT.
These changes and new features are bound to make the Kia Seltos a more premium offering, which will carry a suitable premium over the outgoing model which is sold from Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelifted Kia Seltos will make a stronger case for itself in the sea of compact SUVs, which include the Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Hyundai Creta, and the upcoming Citroen C3 Aircross and Honda Elevate.
