Mahindra is working on a larger version of the Bolero Neo, called the Bolero Neo+, which is essentially the facelifted TUV300 Plus. The SUV should get similar updates as the Bolero Neo and will carry forward its 2.2-litre diesel engine, albeit with a BS6 upgrade.

So to keep the larger SUV’s styling in line with the smaller model, Mahindra could equip it with a revised, chrome slat front grille, new bumpers at either ends and redesigned headlamps and DRLs. Plus, Mahindra could offer it with new colour options to keep things fresh. Last but not least, it could also get Mahindra’s new ‘Twin Peaks' logo.

Inside, the Bolero Neo+ could get a revised colour scheme and upholstery. Also, like the smaller SUV, it will get the Thar’s instrument cluster. The highlight here, though, is its ability to carry up to nine occupants, and like before, there are likely to be jump seats, instead of a proper forward facing bench, behind the second row.

In terms of features, the Bolero Neo+ should get a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth (no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto), BlueSense App, USB and AUX connectivity, cruise control, steering-mounted audio controls, and height-adjustable driver seat. Safety kit should include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX child mounts.

The Bolero Neo+ will carry forward its 2.2-litre diesel engine, albeit with BS6 upgrades, developing 120PS (95PS in Eco mode). Drive should be sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.

The Mahindra Bolero Neo+ is expected to be launched soon and could be priced from Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). This vehicle is basically targeted at fleet customers.
