This bike will fulfil your dreams of having an MV Agusta in your garage - well, almost

If you have always dreamed of owning an MV Agusta, that too a Superveloce, but are having some financial difficulties, due to the current economic situation, don’t worry! QJ Motor, a Chinese manufacturer, has unveiled the SRK 125 E minibike which captures the essence of your dream MV but in a package which won’t make you break your bank account. Even though the SRK 125 E is not related to any MV Agusta motorcycle, QJ Motor was the former partner of MV Agusta in China.

Will Make You Look Back Twice

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the SRK 125 E is something which you will never forget. It has a neo-retro design, similar to the Superveloce. It gets a round LED headlight and a front cowl, aggressive tank extension with air ducts to improve aerodynamics, clip-on handlebars with bar-end mirrors, and a split-seat setup. From the rear, the first thing which will catch your attention is the dual-shock absorbers with gold-coloured expansion tanks. The overall design is quite eye-catching and might not be everyone's cup of tea.

Engine And Underpinnings

The QJ Motor SRK 125 E is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which makes 9.53PS and 9.8Nm, and is paired to a CVT. It gets an inverted telescopic fork and dual shock absorbers, disc brakes at both ends mounted on 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels. The minibike has an accessible seat height of 745mm and a ground clearance of 135mm. It has a fuel tank capacity of 9 litres and a kerb weight of 106kg.

Features

While QJ Motor has not listed the features, the SRK 125 E gets LED lighting all-round and has ABS sensor rings on the brake discs. However, the company has not mentioned if the bike gets ABS.

ZigSays

The QJ Motor SRK 125 E might not be a thoroughbred MV Agusta but does try to capture an image of the Italian manufacturer. While it might never make its way to India, we did have a similarly-sized bike, the Honda Navi, which shared its underpinnings with the Honda Activa. The SRK 125 E is a fun minibike, at least on paper and will catch everyone’s attention as you roll past them.
