Harley-Davidson Deadwood

Harley-Davidson has unveiled the all-new 2026 Deadwood, a modern classic that takes inspiration from the stripped-down custom motorcycles that became popular after World War 2. While it looks like a traditional bobber with its clean lines and blacked-out styling, the Deadwood packs a host of modern electronic rider aids underneath. The motorcycle has been launched exclusively in the US and Canada, with no confirmation yet on an India launch.

Minimalist Bobber Design

The Harley-Davidson Deadwood follows a simple yet muscular design philosophy. It features an all-black theme with Denim Black paint on the five-gallon fuel tank and both fenders, giving it a stealthy appearance.

One of the standout elements is the hidden rear monoshock, which creates the look of a classic hardtail motorcycle while still offering modern ride comfort. The suspension provides 3.4 inches of travel and comes with hydraulic preload adjustment. At the front, the bike uses a 49mm dual-bending-valve telescopic fork. The Deadwood rides on tubeless laced wheels wrapped in a 100/90B19 front and 150/80B16 rear tyre, completing its authentic bobber stance.

Milwaukee-Eight 117 Engine

Powering the Deadwood is Harley-Davidson’s familiar Milwaukee-Eight 117 Classic air-cooled V-twin engine. The massive 1,923cc motor produces 98PS and 163Nm of torque, delivering the signature Harley-Davidson character.

The bike also features a low 647mm seat height, making it one of the lowest motorcycles in Harley-Davidson’s 2026 lineup and easier to manage for a wider range of riders. Braking duties are handled by a 300mm front disc and a 292mm rear disc.

Modern Features Hidden Beneath The Retro Looks

Despite its old-school styling, the Deadwood comes loaded with modern technology. It gets cornering ABS, cornering traction control, drag-torque slip control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The motorcycle also offers Road, Sport and Rain riding modes, which adjust throttle response and the intervention levels of the electronic safety systems.

Other features include a 7-inch LED headlight with auxiliary fog lamps, a USB Type-C charging port, heated gear connectors, and a 5-inch tank-mounted instrument console that combines an analogue speedometer with a multifunction LCD display.
