A Delhi RTO document has spilled the beans on the facelifted Kodiaq’s trims ahead of its launch on January 14. The luxury SUV will be offered in three broad trims: Sportline, Style, and Laurin and Klement. The rugged-looking Scout trim, available in the pre-facelift model, has been discontinued.

The Sportline is a new addition to the Kodiaq’s lineup in India. Like the Skoda Superb Sportline, the Kodiaq should also get blacked-out elements and sporty design touches on the outside as well as inside. The ‘Style’ is the mid-spec trim, while ‘Laurin and Klement’ sits atop the order.

Skoda also took to Twitter to confirm some of the Kodiaq’s features. The luxury SUV will get 12-way electrically adjustable front seats (with heating and ventilation), an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, three-zone climate control, an updated 12-speaker Canton sound system with subwoofer, and a panoramic sunroof.
Passenger safety will be taken care of by multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and an electric parking brake with auto hold.

A 190PS 2-litre turbo-petrol engine will replace the 150PS 2-litre diesel that was on offer before. Drive will be sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Unofficial bookings are being accepted at select dealerships, so you can go and reserve the facelifted Kodiaq for yourself. Prices will likely start from Rs 35 lakh, locking it in a feud with the Toyota Fortuner petrol, Volkswagen Tiguan, BMW X1, and Mercedes-Benz GLA.
