The newest movie in the Transformers franchise, ‘Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts,’ is set to hit the theatres on June 9, 2023. It brings back a slew of our favourite Autobots, alongside a new addition, Mirage, an Autobot that transforms into a 1990s Porsche 911 Carrera RS 3.8. Watch the action in the new trailer below:
Mirage the Autobot is voiced by comedian Pete Davidson. The movie also stars Michelle Yeoh and Anthony Ramos and features voices of renowned actors Peter Dinklage, John DiMaggio and Ron Perlman.
The newest Transformers movie is the seventh installment in the series. It’s a crossover with the Beast Wars universe, so it has gigantic robot animals for the Autobots to contend with.

The Porsche Carrera RS 3.8 came about in 1993 as a replacement for the early ‘90s 911 Carrera RS 3.6. It was based on the 964-generation 911 sportcar’s underpinnings, extensively modified for stiffness and weight savings. It had a 3.8-litre, flat-six petrol engine making 300PS, capable of getting from nought to 100kmph in mere 4.8 seconds – plenty quick for the time.
