The Baleno comes with a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT, while the i20’s engine is paired to a 5-speed MT or a CVT. Notably, the i20's CVT gearbox offers a smoother performance than the Baleno’s AMT.

On the other hand, the Maruti Baleno compensates with a heads-up display.
