When we thought Lexus was done with surprises, they hit it once again. A brand that has a reputation for producing silent, peaceful sedans targeted at individuals who are inherently zen has introduced something that appears to be a sci-fi prop. Its name is the Lexus LS Concept, and it has got half a dozen wheels. Yup, six.
Lexus researched on the automobile and real estate market, and then reasoned, Why not combine the two? What comes out is a car that is not very much a car but a moving apartment. The acronym LS is no longer used to refer to Luxury Sedan; it is used to refer to Luxury Space. That is understandable, as the car is more spacious than an apartment in Mumbai, and much more peaceful.
When you see it, you will question yourself about what the designers of Lexus were thinking and where to purchase such parts. The LS Concept resembles a spacecraft that has crashed on Earth to rest. It has two enormous wheels on the front, four smaller ones on the back, and the body resembles an art gallery more than a car.
According to Lexus, the six-wheel configuration makes the car more stable and the ride more even. It is not clear whether it does, but it appears incredibly futuristic. The grille that used to be on the Lexus vehicle is no longer there, and instead, it has a smooth, state-of-the-art front with light bars that also act as the facial accents of the vehicle, making it shine at night.

On the side, it is long, streamlined, and unashamedly large. Once the doors open, no swing, no slide, it is not like entering the car; it is entering a personal jet. All that is lacking is a flight attendant giving you a towel.
Once you enter, you will be surprised to smile. The inside is like a luxury flat on wheels, bamboo touches, low-key lighting which is as nourishing as a candlelit spa, and seats which might have belonged to business class. The ambience is inviting.
You do not drive this car; you are just there. Lexus made it the comfort of a chauffeur-driven car, and it is self-evident. The seats in the back are reclining, it has screens everywhere, and the relaxing nature is so intense that you almost envision a monk serving you some green tea.
It isn’t self‑driving. Lexus boasts of having a human behind the wheel. So that driver, who may have a name of Ramesh, does not lose his job, but he may need a pilot's license to fit this job.

The LS Concept is less about hard numbers and performance figures, but about the level of comfort that can be so ridiculous. The cabin is also well-soundproofed enough to rival every recording studio and gives the ambient lighting, fresh air purification, and even seats that would listen to your demands should you order them to.
They have not revealed powertrain specifics yet, but the car will be electric, and thus will be highly quiet and smooth as you enjoy your matcha latte without fear of traffic issues. The six-wheel installation makes the Lexus seem stable, but that is the actual intention; it makes you feel like a queen riding on a parade float.
It is not to be asked by those who want to know how much it costs. It is to satisfy those who ask, Can it match the shade of my marble flooring?

Lexus has been doing weird cars, but the LS Concept takes it to a higher level. It seems that the brand chose not to play on the safe side anymore but to have fun. It is anarchy, wrong, nonsensical, but it is genius.
Most brands compete by doing better in terms of SUVs and crossovers, but Lexus leapt over the competition curve and developed a luxury moving van.
Lexus delivers, in case you have ever wondered about having a car that would pass as your dream home. And even in case your real estate broker cannot secure you a place with a sea view, you can simply purchase this and park it by the newly opened Worli Sea Face.
