Q. How is the performance of this car?
  • Nissan offers the Magnite with two petrol engine options: a 72PS 1.0-litre naturally aspirated unit and a 100PS 1.0-litre turbo-petrol motor. The naturally aspirated engine is the ideal choice for those looking for a no-nonsense car that gradually builds speed and drives in a calm manner. As for the turbo-petrol engine, the motor does feel a whole lot more refined than the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine. However, if you were expecting to be pinned to your seat, grinning ear to ear driving the turbo, maybe temper those expectations. What you have instead is a versatile engine that’s tuned to make commutes and road trips easier. The turbo kicks in gently and acceleration then on is brisk. In fact, even when the turbo isn’t in play the Magnite doesn’t beg for a downshift. What could take a bite out of the happiness, though, is the heavy-ish clutch and the notchy gear shifts. And that’s why we can’t help but choose the CVT over the manual. It’s down on torque compared to the manual — 152Nm vs 160Nm — but it’s so much easier to drive. As you’d expect from a CVT, it’s buttery smooth practically everywhere. For a better understanding of performance and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
Q. What is the difference between AMT and CVT?
  • The AMT uses a regular clutch and gear configuration, but the gearshifts are done using sensors, hydraulic actuators and pneumatics when it comes to high-performance applications. The AMTs are the most cost-effective transmission compared to their counterparts and deliver fuel efficiency at a similar level to manuals. However, you may experience slow and jerky gear shifts and it feels basic in the way it operates. On the other hand, CVTs use pulleys or belts for gear shifting. The use of belts or pulleys instead of steel gears results in variable gear ratios dependent on engine speed or RPM. As a result, this helps it deliver better fuel economy and a smooth and jerk-free drive. On the downside, if you are an enthusiastic driver you will not like the transmission lag whenever you floor the throttle. For a better understanding of performance and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test drive. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
Q. Magnite XL available in AMT?
  • Nissan Magnite is only available in a CVT transmission.

I bought nissan magnite xv no turbo on 22.06.2021 against my booking on 04.02.2021.Truly car is worth buying as it offers a great range of features and comfortable ride.Very spacious car with hatchback price. No need to compromise in terms of engine pick up too.It has enough power to drive decently but not for rugged driving.I recommend the car to a family driver who never exceeds the speed over 100 kmh.All the above reasons made the car hotcake.

Maximum comfort and awesome drive experience.Car is feature laden and has all features like terrain control, Drive assist, 360 park assist, Climate control.Very good road presence. The only problem that i have faced is that it gives 15kmpl in city.Otherwise one of the best suvs currently in market when compared with venue, Breeza, Nexon.

Its one of the best car's under 7l.If you even take the xe or xl its more than enough to perform. The 1000cc na engine does feel like a 1200cc engine power. If you consider a hatchback or premium hatchback better purchase a magnite.
