  • Q. Can we make long rides on NS 200 and how comfortable it is for long rides

Let me first start with the thing that my heifht is 6 ft 2 inch so while riding I did not face much of back problem, but yes if someone is sitting behind you then he will keep asking you to stop every one or one and half hour.As NS is naked sport bike, it has been designed to look sporty and cool so you have to compromise a bit on comfort. What I felt if I apply the front disc brake then it automatically puts pressure on your thighs to hold your body back and after riding few kilometres it starts to pain.Another thing is that this bike has 6 gear box so if you are riding in city then you have to shift gears a lot and again your left portion between left knee and ankle starting to pain. After all this, let me end by saying I love this bike. I have this bike from the past 7 years. I give full marks in terms of mileage considering the 200CC engine coz it has triple spark technology. In city I get around 35 and on highway 40-42 n yes I ride above 100 so speed shouldn't be the case here.

The Pulsar NS 200 has always been one of the best handlers to come from the Bajaj stable. The NS 200 can be as engaging to ride. In fact, the bike feels more relaxed and accommodating on the limit, something new riders will appreciate. Ride quality is good too though a tad on the firmer side going by the sporty demeanour of the bike. The MRF Zapper tyres grip well in the dry and emanate a good level of confidence to ride the bike aggressively. Also, Tthe split seats on offer have just the right amount of padding, making them comfortable for both commuting and long distance travel and it is comfortable for tall riders too. • Q. How is the overall performance of pulsar ns 200?
    Sushant
    Sushant | 1 year ago

It a value for every penny spend in my eyes. Touched 149 on an open highway. In City I have got 35 kmpl of mileage. I get less on highways because i am always in triple digits and the sixth gear comes in only when the speedometer crosses triple digits. In City I use 6th gear only if 60 knows is crossed. Have never ride triple seat On time service by a good mechanic with using the original spare parts from the showroom. And the biggest thing I never give my bike to anyone. I have hit 48000 km yesterday and still getting the same mileage that I got when the bike was new. I follow right gear for a particular speed and unleash the best only when required. That requirement comes only on the highways. The long ride performance - I don't find any difference in the performance of new bike after two services and after hitting 48000. Take care of the bike and the bike give you payback in the same manner

Ya it is good but in city traffic u wont get fun riding on this bike as much u can get on 220f or 2004v as low end is more punchy in 220f and 2004v . ns200 is good after it crosses 4000 rpm til the peak.

  • Q. Hi to everyone, does NS200 vibrates like RTR200 when it hires top speed??
    Parz
    Parz | 9 months ago

No. I personally use this but for better cutting and curves of himachal 200ns is best. Probably vibration after 120 but not that much which will dis-balance you. 140 + will create a miss balance but still you should experience it personally.

Not much. Little buzz in hands, foot pegs and butt that's it. But, the major concern here, it is hard to keep over that speed if there is small inclination on the road.

Some have low coolant flow so tend to get real hotgearbox was good in our bikeexhaust is a worry on bad roadseurogrip don't offer good gripstiff suspension results in loosening of components when driven over potholes at considerable speed

I own 2014 model and it still performs as new bike, it is important to use good quality oil (Motul 7100) and get it serviced at regular interval.

  • Q. What is ideal cruising speed of ns 200 for long hours
    Mahesh
    Mahesh | 3 weeks ago

Top speed for pulsar 200 ns is 140 to 152 kmph depending upon roads and weight of the rider, pillion and luggage ect..For long drive pulsar 200 ns can cruise 80,90 or 100 kmph without straining but give some rest to bike like 15 to 20 mins for every 2 hours or 150 kilometers. After 5 to 6 hours or for 500 to 600 kilometers give 1 hour rest.Like this if you drive your bike for long distance with ease and without any bike problems.Pulsar 200 ns is liquid cooled but we have to give proper rest for enhance bike life.....after 150 kilometers 20 min restafter 300 kilometers 20 min restafter 450 kilometers 40 min restafter 600 kilometers 1 hour restafter 750 kilometers 30 min restafter 900 kilometers 30 min restafter 1000 kilometers 1 hour restlike this you can drive pulssare 200 ns at 95 kmph all the day without any problembut have to check tyre pressure, have to lubricant chain etc

I love my bike. In the city when I keep my speed limited to 45~50. I do not over speed because I see a road empty. I love to treat my bike well. On the highways, I prefer to go to 80~90. Again I hate overspeeding and I start a bit earlier considering my target destination. Keeping your rides comfortable should be of higher priority.
