Both bike will make there presence on the road 'cause of their sound.10r will seem you more bulky than the R1 because of the wide body kit it has, R1 is lil thin and compact. Firing pattern of both bikes are different (I love how R1 sounds).You don't want to have someone squizing you from behind when you go 200km/h on the road on both the bikes, but, R1 is back seat is lil bit tiny compared to the 10r.

Q. Is it suitable for 5.4ft person - YZF R1?

I am 5’5” and have had an R1M for over a year. I cannot tippy toe both feet at once, but if you can shift your bum as you stop and use the rear brake for starting and stopping it is not a major issue. If I slide to one side I can place my left foot flat on the ground (right on rear brake). I’d suggest you are very comfortable with the above before buying one.
