Hyundai Staria

The Hyundai Staria has been showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 alongside the other models, such as the Creta Electric and Ioniq 9. This spaceship-style MPV bears a unique design and a modern interior. Built on the Hyundai-Kia N3 platform, the Staria serves as a more affordable alternative to the Kia Carnival. Globally, it comes in two powertrain options.

Features: The Hyundai Staria is equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 4.2-inch digital driver’s display, dual-zone climate control, a wireless phone charger, 64-color ambient lighting, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, ventilated and heated seats for the first and second rows, a premium 12-speaker Bose sound system and connected car technology. Safety features include six airbags as standard, electronic stability control (ESC), an electronic parking brake with auto hold, a 360-degree camera with a blind-spot monitor and ADAS.

Engine: The Hyundai Staria is available globally with a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 177 PS and 431 Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission. It also offers a 3.5-litre V6 naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering 272 PS and 331 Nm. The Staria is offered in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. The MPV measures approximately 5,253 mm in length, 1,997 mm in width, and 1,990 mm in height and sits on a wheelbase of 3,273 mm.

Rivals: The Hyundai Staria will compete with the Kia Carnival in the premium MPV segment.
