Price: The Hero Destini Prime is available in a single variant in three colours: Pearl Silver White, Nobel Red, and Metallic Nexus Blue. All three colour options cost Rs 71,499 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Features: The Hero Destini Prime's features include a halogen headlight, tail light, LED DRLs (daytime running lights) and a semi-digital instrument cluster. It gets an analogue speedometer along with a digital inset that houses the odometer, tripmeter readings, clock, fuel gauge and a maintenance reminder. The scooter also features an underseat boot light and a mobile charging port. It also has an external fuel filler cap, and self start adding to the convenience.

Engine: The Hero Destini Prime is powered by a 124.6cc air-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine, which generates 9.09PS @7000rpm and 10.36Nm @5500rpm. This engine is paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The claimed mileage of Hero Destini Prime is 56kmpl.

Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The Hero Destini Prime uses a telescopic front fork and a single rear shock absorber, based on the same frame as the Destini 125. The braking system includes 130mm drum brakes at both front and rear ends with a Combined Braking System (CBS). It rides on 90-section tyres wrapped on 10-inch steel wheels to keep the costs low. Speaking of its dimensions, the scooter features a seat height of 778mm, making it easily accessible to shorter riders. The ground clearance stands at 155mm, whereas the kerb weight is 115kg. The scooter comes with a 5-litre fuel tank.

Rivals: Regarding direct competition, the Hero Destini Prime is up against other 125cc scooters, including the Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125. One can also look for slightly lesser-powered and similarly priced alternatives such as Honda Dio, TVS Scooty Zest and Hero Pleasure, too.
