Mahindra has revealed their “big daddy” of SUVs, the new generation Mahindra Scorpio. In it’s latest avatar, the SUV gets renamed to Scorpio N, partly because it’s a new model and but also because the existing generation of the Scorpio will remain on sale as the Scorpio Classic.

The Scorpio N sports a cleaner and more mature design, highlighted with a new set of alloy wheels, projector headlights and signature DRLs. Sharing its DNA with the current generation Mahindra Thar, the Scorpio N is still a body-on-frame SUV that will get rear-wheel drive as standard with optional 4x4 available. Like the XUV700, the Scorpio N will be offered with petrol and diesel engines with manual and automatic transmission options.
