One of the biggest star attractions at the Auto Expo 2023, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny in India will be launched in a practical 5-door version and will rival the likes of the upcoming 5-door Mahindra Thar. It will be powered by a 1.5 litre four cylinder petrol motor and prices are likely to start under the 10 lakh mark, It will come standard with 4x4 hardware with a low-range gearbox. It’s compact dimensions and light weight should make it great when the going gets tough and it will also come with the option of a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Jimny is expected to launch around June 2023.
