After a long period of breadcrumbs from Mahindra which includes teasers and unveilings, the newest iteration of the Scorpio or as now we call it the Scorpio N has gone on sale in India at introductory prices starting from Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). It’ll be offered in the Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8 and Z8L variants.
Variants aside, what this new generation doesn’t change is its body-on-frame nature like the Thar. But now we get a more mature design, a far more civilised and loaded cabin, as well as a range of petrol and diesel engines paired with manual and automatic gearboxes as well as the option of a four-wheel drivetrain for the diesel mill.
