2022 KTM RC125, RC200 & RC390 Unveiled! | Updates, Specifications, Features & More | ZigFF

After months of speculations, leaks and spy shots, KTM has finally pulled the wraps off its supersport trio. This is the first comprehensive update that the bikes have received since their global debut in 2013. While the 2022 KTM RC 390 now gains a bunch of electronic aids, the smaller siblings - the KTM RC 200 and the KTM RC 125 too aren’t far behind. While all three of the engines are unchanged for the most part, they now get carbon-coated cam levers which have lower friction and produce more power. KTM has even equipped the trio with a bigger airbox and paired with the new engine mapping, increase torque across the board and provide crisper throttle response. There are also a lot of weight savings on these bikes which have come from the new bolt-on subframe, new wheels and new brakes. So the KTM RCs’ legendary sharp handling should become even sharper. KTM will launch the new RCs in Europe in March 2022. But we expect them to come to India a little sooner, possibly even by this festive season. But whether KTM India decides to spread out the launches of the three models remains to be seen. Of course, with these new updates, we can expect prices to go up across the board.
