- The Bajaj Avenger Street 160 comes with 5 steps adjustable Twin shock absorber (Rear Suspension). The simple suspension system - telescopic forks and twin rear shock absorbers - work amazingly well on bad roads, as long as you don’t try and tackle very large bumps at speed. Like you’d expect from a cruiser, suspension travel isn’t the longest, so it can bottom out on really nasty potholes. Thankfully, the seat is extremely well padded, so it doesn’t transfer any of those jolts to the rider, or even the pillion. That said, riding at high speeds over cambered roads results in the bike feeling nervously wobbly. Enthusiasts might prefer a stiffer setup, but hey, it’s a budget cruiser made for the aam junta! And that job, it does really well. Moreover, you can make the rear suspension soften but it may hamper your ride quality. For a better understanding of performance and riding comfort, we would suggest you take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.
- Yes, you may install the handlebar of Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 in Avenger Street 160. Moreover, we would suggest you get in touch with the nearest authorized service center of Bajaj in your city as they would be able to assist you better in this.
- The recommended tyre size for Bajaj Avenger Street 160 is Front:-90/90-17, Rear:- 130/90-15. Moreover, upsizing the tyres is a possibility but there will be some effects on vehicle performance. If you replace any part with a different spec, you will most probably have to change some other related parts as well. So, if you upsize your tire, there is a chance that it might start brushing the swingarm and that will result in faster wear and tear than the normal rate. In terms of performance, with a wider tire, the performance will also be on the decrease, which can be seen in the fuel economy and the top speed of the bike. Also, the increased contact of the tire with the surface results in increased efforts to handle the bike.
- It's your choice dear
- The lazy rake angle and the ridiculously long wheelbase of 1480mm might lead you to believe that the Avenger would have a very vague feeling front end and wouldn’t be a nimble handler. But that really isn’t the case. While it wouldn’t be our first choice for some corner-carving action, the front does feel stable enough through the bends. And it turns rather quickly too. But this agility is a bigger boon in the city, where darting through traffic feels easy enough - a good thing as the Avenger 160 is really more of an urban cruiser than an out-and-out highway tourer. On the other hand, if we talk about FZ-X, compared to the regular FZ-FI, the FZ-X’s handlebars are taller and pulled closer to the rider, and the footpegs have been moved quite a bit forwards. So you end up sitting in a very commuters stance. Combine that with the very soft seat and you’re bound to have a back and butt ache if you spend a long time in the saddle. Then there’s the highway performance. You’ll only be able to maintain speeds of about 80-85kmph comfortably on the highway. Anything faster than that makes the bike feel rather strained. And because of this, highway efficiency, while fairly ok at 48.67kmpl, takes a bit of a hit compared to city efficiency. For a better understanding of performance and riding comfort, we would suggest you take a test ride. - As per your requirements, Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 could prove to be a good option. The seat is cushioned well and wide enough for the comfort of the rider. However, the same can out be said about the pillion seat. What's more, the Cruise 220’s handlebars are relatively taller and narrower making it slightly difficult to guide around tight bends. Furthermore, the Bajaj Avenger 180 is no longer available for sale in the market. As for the Avenger Street 160, it offers a smooth engine, comfortable ride quality and reassuring braking prowess. The Avenger Street 160 simply proves that there indeed can be a replacement for displacement. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. - It would not be possible to install a digital instrument cluster in the Yamaha Fascino as none of the variants get one. Moreover, you may check for the available options (if any) in the aftermarket.

- You may face an issue. As it doesn’t have the long legs to make it a proper highway cruiser. Once you swing your leg over the saddle, slot into gear, and ride, you’ll be surprised at how refined this motor is. It’s definitely a considerable step up from the older bike’s engine as far as vibrations are concerned. There’s barely any buzz on the handlebars even when pushing the bike to its limits (read 100 kmph). But beyond 80kmph, there are noticeable vibes on the footpegs, which do tend to tingle your feet if you’re wearing thin-soled shoes. The engine can comfortably cruise at 80kmph and if need be, 90kmph too. It doesn’t really complain even when you keep the throttle wide open and that’s a commendable feat by Bajaj. Plus, the icing on the cake is the deep, grunty exhaust note which eggs you to hold on to the revs a little longer than you normally would. The shifts from the 5-speed gearbox feel positive too, and there were no instances of false neutrals. But the shift throw is a bit on the longer side, and it might need some readjustment in your left foot if you’re used to slicker shifters. Ergonomics are properly laid-back, thanks to the nicely scooped seat and forward-mounted footpegs. Oddly, the left footpeg is mounted slightly ahead of the right one. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- Ha kar sakte hai but dhyan se or proper safety gears k saath kare..full face helmet, riding jacket or agar possible ho to knee guard bhi pehne.
- In order to improve the mileage, we would suggest you ride slower. Riding fast can reduce your fuel efficiency by up to 33% if you are traveling above 60 kmph. It is best to change gears appropriately and match the gear and the RPM carefully.
- The backrest for both models is not the same. Moreover, we would suggest you get in touch with your nearest authorized dealership of Bajaj in your city as they may assist you better in this.

- Avenger is the shortest bike at this time in india.. being 5 ft yes you can ride avenger 160 street easily but you will face problem if you have to pull back your bike in any situation ... Overall you can easily place one of your feet on the ground firmly.

- Sitting posture and the ride height is pretty good. So even if you have issues with your height you need not to be worried.
- Yes you can...its the most comfortable bike for low seating position....you wont feel tired like other bikes too :)
- Take a test ride, if it suits you, then buy it!
- Check for a bike with more ground clearance and mono shock suspensions. For off roading..Avenger is suitable for 150kms daily ride.
- You go with monoshock suspension
- Bullet or KTM
- Street variant will give you comfort as you are 5 ft. Handling will be easy in the street variant.
- Take long test drive of both street and cruise and then decide.
- Yes it is . But have a test ride before buying it for better experience.
- You chose right. No need to exchange. You cannot get any bike to suit your height as all other bikes are with seats at much more height to any Avenger and you would invite problems on reaching the ground and good foot support. You can simply modify your brake lever to suit your able length.I can help you, if you are in or around Hyderabad. You may sms on 944****797. Good Luck!
- Try to get rubber bush for brake pedal and also for the gear shift pedal
- Better to change For 3.0
- Avenger is a low base bike and weighs around 150 kg, so height is not a problem, also the disc brake needs to applied properly, else this may result in accident.Although it is a good and comfortable bike to drive overall.
- Do not buy. Seat to handle distance is more than other bikes that makes rider to bend which give back pain. I will suggest wait for few days and buy Chetak.
- Do not buy. seat to handle distance is more than moped. that makes rider to bend and that gives back pain. Wait for few days and buy chetak.
- Its fitted with abs..... i used sudden braje when all of sudden a car in front of me applied emergency brake...didnt even skided at all...its all about how hard u hit thr brakes cos the more u hit brakes more pressure applied on abs system
- Yes you'll definitely slip for first few tries, whether you apply both breaks or single.....because of its big surface tyres and also the angle of fork...but once you are used to it ..then it's as smooth to operate as butter
- Kindly refer about ABS before accepting that comment on Avenger 160
- Better comfortable i m 5'4 brother

- Yes...
- It is true that you are concerned about the mileage but if you really are into mileage then you prefer Pulsar 150 and if you are into cruise mode and you are not worried about mileage then I'll prefer for you to go for Avenger Street 160...pulsar mileage is approx 50kmpl and 55-57kmpl on highways avenger on other hand is 43kmpl and 49-51 kmpl on highways
- Pulsar is a sporty model and Avenger is a cruiser model. mileage is similar on both. Only matter of difference in comfort. Avenger is good for comfortable rides.
- Go for pulsar. mileage will be near about same. but my suggestion will be pulsar instead of avenger.
- 3 months gone so far no issues as it is running with Exide VRLA battery
- If you do not install any electrical additional accessories then yes...
- No any starting problem
- Depends if u love cruiser...else ill prefer u for bullet...
- YES
- Yes
- Definitely no if you have lower back pain. Reasons:1. The riding posture is not suitable for bad roads. Each and every bump will send shocks to your lower back as you have only your back to support the entire weight of the body. In other taller bikes, you can slightly get up using foot peg and avoid hurting your spine when you cross a bump or a pothole.2. It has less rear suspension travel, smaller rear wheel that will still worse the situation. Please have a long test ride in your frequently travelling route and then decide.
- I have never seen such a reply for avenger. If you have used this bike... your answer should not be the same bro. I am proudly owner of 220 street model from 2015 and have done long rides like Delhi to Nanital, Lansdwone, Almora etc. This is the most comfortable bike for long rides. My friends asked for rest in 200 or maximum 250 km... I have drive this bike for 350 Km in single stretch and never faced any problem.
- Go for 220, or get a raised handlebar for 160 if you have back pain. Regular handlebar in 160 is low and you need to bend down
- Yes but have to change handlebar and few cables
- My height is 6.1ft I have avenger..

- Avenger 160.. New features added.
- 160 IS BEST CHOISE
- AVENGER HAS BETTER PERFORMANCE THAN INTRUDER IN TERMS OF AVERAGE AND TOP SPEED TOO
- I have not drove intruder. But avenger 160 is comfortable for me
- Avenger 160 on any day of the week and twice on the weekends!
- Mileage is between 30 to 39 km. Depend upon yhor driving habits and traffic condition. As I have felt if you drive above 60 kmph then it will be about 30+ only. If driven within 60 kmph then you may get up to 40kmpl but not beyond that.
- I got average around 46km pl...on city and 49 on highway
- Mileage wise average, comfort wise best.
- Avenger 160
- Avenger 160
- Buy unicorn, much better in breaking and also fuel efficient as you desired
- I will suggest to go with cruise. don't think about mileage. The handle of cruise is very nicely designed to give proper comfort and seating posture to rider. Take long drive on both cruise and street and then decide. Unfortunately I didnt do that and I got severe back pain.
- 160 is better than cruse 220BcozBoth are same postureAnd mileage is very good of 160Rate also low against 220Running of 160 is depend on driver how much he need. It is run easlyAnd look wise also good 160
- If mileage is your top priority then go for avenger 160street but if you want to go 130kmph+ then buy 220
- Mileage ke liye platina or agar 45 kmpl me kaam chal jayega to avenger 160
- Avenger 160 or 220
- Platina h gear
- It depends on road conditions . Avenger is always best for city drive and on the straight roads. But if roads are not good it can give you discomfort as clearance is low and tyres are also small .
- Yes bike is very comfortable and good in every field but only you have to to oiling your chain in time
- Good for comfort,30km/lt mileage and maintenance cost is not much expensive
- Hi I've driven multiple times from Gujarat to Rajasthan around 280 kms in 5 hours time. If the road is good bike will have no problem till 80 - 90 speed on the new BS-6 engine. The vibration has improved from previous models. Although Bajaj should definitely work on the built quality but this is a good bike for Long rides specially when you don't want to invest over 2 lakh + in cruiser bikes. Thos one comes nearly to 1.10 lakh on road
- No. You can't complete it in city only 120 km can be done on this bike. over heating problems and ground clearance problem are huge it can't go on speed breakers of many city's in india. I guess this bike is not made according to indian roads. And the rear brakes are not made good no power. Very bad build quality. Some screws and components will rust after 6 months.
- I've done the ride of 270 kms in a single trip in 5:30 Hours many times.Keeping the speed between 70-100 . it was Fun.
- ACCORDING TO YPUR height AVENGER IS YOUR SMART CHOISE
- Yes , it is very good for 5.4 I believe
- You should go for Avenger 160
- Go for Avenger 220
- Yes
- Try royal en field himalayan
- Avenger 160 with ABS
- Avenger 160 abs
- Avenger is best
- Depends on how long you will daily travel. It's bike made for comfort if you travel more in city traffic this is best. but its length makes you to move bit slow when compared to the other models. So Comfort is your first priority you can go for it. Of you want to move fast in the traffic then don't go with this
- Yes...best milage and comfort
- Yes
- Not recommended for city rides.
- Very good
- Yes
- Very much comfortable, highly recommended, even 5.0 guys and girls ride it properly, its for short rider. And BDW im 5.6
- Yes, its amazing for long rides as well rides in the city
- Bahut badiya sofa sheet hai avenger ki
- Yes
- Yes
- Yes it's comfortable
- Basically it depends what exactly is your requirements. If you choose for more ergonomic riding , then go for Avenger . But if you want sportier bike , then go for Pulsar
- As compared to Pulsar, avenger lags in pickup. It depends upon your choice of riding a sports bike n a cruiser
- Don't compare both one is cruise model other is street model. Power wise not much difference but if you prefer comfort Go for Avenger if you prefer fast go for Pulsar
