Volkswagen ID.4 Specifications

The VW ID.4 is offered internationally in four variants, featuring both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) options. In the United Kingdom, the base RWD variant packs a 52kWh battery mated to a single rear wheel drive motor churning out 170 PS and a 360 km driving range. The second in the line-up is a long range RWD variant packing in a 77kWh battery mated to a single rear-wheel drive motor producing 286 PS and 541 km claimed range. The long range AWD model gets a 77kWh battery mated to a dual motor all-wheel drive system producing 286 PS and 541 km claimed range. The fourth and the most powerful variant is the GTX which again packs in a 77kWh battery mated to a dual motor all-wheel drive system making 340 PS but a slightly lesser claimed range of 510 km. It is yet to be confirmed as to which variants make it to India.

Volkswagen ID.4 Features

The ID.4 offers a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, three-zone climate control, a digital driver’s display, powered front seats with heating, ambient lighting, heads-up display, wireless mobile charging and a panoramic glass-roof. In terms of safety, features in the ID.4 include six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
