After being without a set of wheels for a while, the Fiat Linea is a welcome change - especially since it has loads of room and yes, it is a diesel! For someone frequently travelling long distances the 1.3 Multijet is probably has one of the best suited engines in its class. The Linea's got a huge boot as well really comes in handy when on the move constantly.
But the best bit with the Linea yet has been its comfort factor, especially when driving the car in the middle of a hot summer day. When put through a rigorous test the Laura's air conditioning proved quite effective. The Linea may have just a 1.3 litre engine - slightly small for a big car of the Linea's stature, but in no way does it feel underpowered. It returns a good fuel efficiency and pulls well on ascending mountain roads. It's now due for some tinkering with the car's ECU so stay tuned in to this space to see how it performs then!
