The Apache RR 310 wasn’t the only exciting thing to come out of TVS’ hat this week. The Hosur-based manufacturer also announced the commencement of its first international racing program called the TVS RR Cup.
The entire initiative will involve training for the riders before racing, all by professional TVS Racing riders. To make the series more interesting and more adaptive for different racing talents it will be a 3-level programme comprising of beginner, intermediate and advanced.

The TVS RR Cup will be an annual event conducted on a global scale, with TVS Racing conducting it in India, Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and other Latin American countries. The championship will debut here in India and will then move on to other countries. The winners that sprout out of this race will represent TVS Racing in other circuit racing programmes. There will also be a global finale race, which is likely to be held in Europe, in which individual winners from each country will compete against each other.

Oh and the best part: all of this will be carried out on the race-spec versions of the new Apache RR 310! The specifications of this variant aren’t out yet but we expect them to be out in a few months’ time. The race bike is expected to have the same engine and chassis but it will undergo weight saving measures, revised suspension setup, slick tyres and a performance exhaust. We have already had our brush with the production Apache RR 310 and only can imagine how good the race bike will be.
