It has just been over a month since Tata Motors launched the Safari, but the SUV has already racked up quite a demand. Tata’s flagship model is currently commanding a waiting period of up to two months. Should you book one, here’s how long you’ll have to wait in some major cities:

  • Priced from Rs 14.69 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards, the Safari, based on the Harrier’s OMEGARC platform, is Tata’s flagship SUV. 

  • Essentially a longer Harrier, it can be had either as a six-seater or a seven-seater. 

  • The Safari is offered in six variants: XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ, and XZ+. The automatic gearbox is offered in the XM, XZ, and XZ+, taking the total count to nine.
